And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it appeared white to the onlookers. |
Ayah: 34 |
|
Arabic: |
قَالَ
لِلْمَلَإِ
حَوْلَهُ
إِنَّ
هَذَا
لَسَاحِرٌ
عَلِيمٌ
|

يُرِيدُ
أَن
يُخْرِجَكُم
مِّنْ
أَرْضِكُم
بِسِحْرِهِ

تَأْمُرُونَ
|
Shakir: |
Who desires to turn you out of your land with his magic; what is it then that you advise? |
Ayah: 36 |
|
Arabic: |
قَالُوا
أَرْجِهِ
وَأَخَاهُ
وَابْعَثْ
فِي
الْمَدَائِنِ
حَاشِرِينَ

They said: Give him and his brother respite and send heralds into the cities |

بِكُلِّ
سَحَّارٍ
عَلِيمٍ
|
Shakir: |
That they should bring to you every skillful magician. |
Ayah: 38 |
|
Arabic: |
فَجُمِعَ
السَّحَرَةُ
لِمِيقَاتِ
يَوْمٍ
مَّعْلُومٍ
|
Shakir: |
So the magicians were gathered together at the appointed time on the fixed day, |
Ayah: 39 |
|
Arabic: |

لِلنَّاسِ
هَلْ
أَنتُم
مُّجْتَمِعُونَ

And it was said to the people: Will you gather together? |
Ayah: 40 |
|
Arabic: |
لَعَلَّنَا
نَتَّبِعُ
السَّحَرَةَ
إِن
كَانُوا
هُمُ
الْغَالِبِينَ
|
Shakir: |
Haply we may follow the magicians, if they are the vanquishers. |
Ayah: 41 |
|
Arabic: |
فَلَمَّا
جَاء
السَّحَرَةُ
قَالُوا
لِفِرْعَوْنَ
أَئِنَّ
لَنَا
لَأَجْرًا
إِن كُنَّا
نَحْنُ
الْغَالِبِينَ
|
Shakir: |
And when the magicians came, they said to Firon: Shall we get a reward if we are the vanquishers? |
Ayah: 42 |
|
Arabic: |
قَالَ
نَعَمْ
وَإِنَّكُمْ
إِذًا
لَّمِنَ
الْمُقَرَّبِينَ
|
Shakir: |
He said: Yes, and surely you will then be of those who are made near. |
Ayah: 43 |
|
Arabic: |
قَالَ
لَهُم
مُّوسَى
أَلْقُوا
مَا أَنتُم
مُّلْقُونَ
|
Shakir: |
Musa said to them: Cast what you are going to cast. |
Ayah: 44 |
|
Arabic: |
فَأَلْقَوْا
حِبَالَهُمْ
وَعِصِيَّهُمْ
وَقَالُوا
بِعِزَّةِ
فِرْعَوْنَ
إِنَّا
لَنَحْنُ
الْغَالِبُونَ
|
Shakir: |
So they cast down their cords and their rods and said: By Firon's power, we shall most surely be victorious. |
Ayah: 45 |
|
Arabic: |
فَأَلْقَى
مُوسَى
عَصَاهُ
فَإِذَا
هِيَ
تَلْقَفُ
مَا
يَأْفِكُونَ
|
Shakir: |
Then Musa cast down his staff and lo! it swallowed up the lies they told. |
Ayah: 46 |
|
Arabic: |
فَأُلْقِيَ
السَّحَرَةُ
سَاجِدِينَ
|
Shakir: |
And the magicians were thrown down prostrate; |
Ayah: 47 |
|
Arabic: |
قَالُوا
آمَنَّا
بِرَبِّ
الْعَالَمِينَ
|
Shakir: |
They said: We believe in the Lord of the worlds: |
Ayah: 48 |
|
Arabic: |
رَبِّ
مُوسَى
وَهَارُونَ
|
Shakir: |
The Lord of Musa and Haroun. |
Ayah: 49 |
|
Arabic: |
قَالَ
آمَنتُمْ
لَهُ
قَبْلَ
أَنْ آذَنَ
لَكُمْ
إِنَّهُ
لَكَبِيرُكُمُ
الَّذِي
عَلَّمَكُمُ
السِّحْرَ
فَلَسَوْفَ
تَعْلَمُونَ
لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ
أَيْدِيَكُمْ
وَأَرْجُلَكُم
مِّنْ
خِلَافٍ
وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ
أَجْمَعِينَ
|
Shakir: |
Said he: You believe in him before I give you permission; most surely he is the chief of you who taught you the magic, so you shall know: certainly I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and certainly I will crucify you all. |
Ayah: 50 |
|
Arabic: |
قَالُوا
لَا ضَيْرَ
إِنَّا
إِلَى
رَبِّنَا
مُنقَلِبُونَ
|
Shakir: |
They said: No harm; surely to our Lord we go back; |
Ayah: 51 |
|
Arabic: |
إِنَّا
نَطْمَعُ
أَن
يَغْفِرَ
لَنَا
رَبُّنَا
خَطَايَانَا
أَن كُنَّا
أَوَّلَ
الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
|
Shakir: |
Surely we hope that our Lord will forgive us our wrongs because we are the first of the believers. |
Ayah: 52 |
|
Arabic: |
وَأَوْحَيْنَا
إِلَى
مُوسَى
أَنْ
أَسْرِ
بِعِبَادِي
إِنَّكُم
مُّتَّبَعُونَ
|
Shakir: |
And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. |
Ayah: 53 |
|
Arabic: |
فَأَرْسَلَ
فِرْعَوْنُ
فِي
الْمَدَائِنِ
حَاشِرِينَ
|
Shakir: |
So Firon sent heralds into the cities; |
Ayah: 54 |
|
Arabic: |
إِنَّ
هَؤُلَاء
لَشِرْذِمَةٌ
قَلِيلُونَ
|
Shakir: |
Most surely these are a small company; |
Ayah: 55 |
|
Arabic: |
وَإِنَّهُمْ
لَنَا
لَغَائِظُونَ
|
Shakir: |
And most surely they have enraged us; |
Ayah: 56 |
|
Arabic: |
وَإِنَّا
لَجَمِيعٌ
حَاذِرُونَ
|
Shakir: |
And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. |
Ayah: 57 |
|
Arabic: |
فَأَخْرَجْنَاهُم
مِّن
جَنَّاتٍ
وَعُيُونٍ
|
Shakir: |
So We turned them out of gardens and springs, |
Ayah: 58 |
|
Arabic: |
وَكُنُوزٍ
وَمَقَامٍ
كَرِيمٍ
|
Shakir: |
And treasures and goodly dwellings, |
Ayah: 59 |
|
Arabic: |
كَذَلِكَ
وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا
بَنِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ
|
Shakir: |
Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. |
Ayah: 60 |
|
Arabic: |
فَأَتْبَعُوهُم
مُّشْرِقِينَ
|
Shakir: |
Then they pursued them at sunrise. |
Ayah: 61 |
|
Arabic: |
فَلَمَّا
تَرَاءى
الْجَمْعَانِ
قَالَ
أَصْحَابُ
مُوسَى
إِنَّا
لَمُدْرَكُونَ
|
Shakir: |
So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. |
Ayah: 62 |
|
Arabic: |
قَالَ
كَلَّا
إِنَّ
مَعِيَ
رَبِّي
سَيَهْدِينِ
|
Shakir: |
He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. |
Ayah: 63 |
|
Arabic: |
فَأَوْحَيْنَا
إِلَى
مُوسَى
أَنِ
اضْرِب
بِّعَصَاكَ
الْبَحْرَ
فَانفَلَقَ
فَكَانَ
كُلُّ
فِرْقٍ
كَالطَّوْدِ
الْعَظِيمِ
|
Shakir: |
Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. |
Ayah: 64 |
|
Arabic: |
وَأَزْلَفْنَا
ثَمَّ
الْآخَرِينَ
|
Shakir: |
And We brought near, there, the others. |
Ayah: 65 |
|
Arabic: |
وَأَنجَيْنَا
مُوسَى
وَمَن
مَّعَهُ
أَجْمَعِينَ
|
Shakir: |
And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. |
Ayah: 66 |
|
Arabic: |
ثُمَّ
أَغْرَقْنَا
الْآخَرِينَ
|
Shakir: |
Then We drowned the others. |
Ayah: 67 |
|
Arabic: |
إِنَّ
فِي ذَلِكَ
لَآيَةً
وَمَا
كَانَ
أَكْثَرُهُم
مُّؤْمِنِينَ
|
Shakir: |
Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. |
Ayah: 68 |
|
Arabic: |
وَإِنَّ
رَبَّكَ
لَهُوَ
الْعَزِيزُ
الرَّحِيمُ
|
Shakir: |
And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. |
Ayah: 69 |
|

وَاتْلُ
عَلَيْهِمْ
نَبَأَ
إِبْرَاهِيمَ
|
Shakir: |
And recite to them the story of Ibrahim. |
Ayah: 70 |
|
Arabic: |
إِذْ
قَالَ
لِأَبِيهِ
وَقَوْمِهِ
مَا
تَعْبُدُونَ
|
Shakir: |
When he said to his father and his people: What do you worship? |
Ayah: 71 |
|
Arabic: |
قَالُوا
نَعْبُدُ
أَصْنَامًا
فَنَظَلُّ
لَهَا
عَاكِفِينَ
|
Shakir: |
They said: We worship idols, so we shall be their votaries. |
Ayah: 72 |
|
Arabic: |
قَالَ
هَلْ
يَسْمَعُونَكُمْ
إِذْ
تَدْعُونَ
|
Shakir: |
He said: Do they hear you when you call? |
Ayah: 73 |
|
Arabic: |
أَوْ
يَنفَعُونَكُمْ
أَوْ
يَضُرُّونَ
|
Shakir: |
Or do they profit you or cause you harm? |
Ayah: 74 |
|
Arabic: |
قَالُوا
بَلْ
وَجَدْنَا
آبَاءنَا
كَذَلِكَ
يَفْعَلُونَ
|
Shakir: |
They said: Nay, we found our fathers doing so. |
Ayah: 75 |
|
Arabic: |
قَالَ
أَفَرَأَيْتُم
مَّا
كُنتُمْ
تَعْبُدُونَ
|
Shakir: |
He said: Have you then considered what you have been worshipping: |
Ayah: 76 |
|
Arabic: |
أَنتُمْ
وَآبَاؤُكُمُ
الْأَقْدَمُونَ
|
Shakir: |
You and your ancient sires. |
Ayah: 77 |
|
Arabic: |
فَإِنَّهُمْ
عَدُوٌّ
لِّي
إِلَّا
رَبَّ
الْعَالَمِينَ
|
Shakir: |
Surely they are enemies to me, but not (so) the Lord of the worlds; |
Ayah: 78 |
|
Arabic: |
الَّذِي
خَلَقَنِي
فَهُوَ
يَهْدِينِ
|
Shakir: |
Who created me, then He has shown me the way: |

|
Arabic: |
وَالَّذِي
هُوَ
يُطْعِمُنِي
وَيَسْقِينِ
|
Shakir: |
And He Who gives me to eat and gives me to drink: |

مَرِضْتُ
فَهُوَ
يَشْفِينِ
|

أَطْمَعُ
أَن
يَغْفِرَ
لِي
خَطِيئَتِي
يَوْمَ
الدِّينِ
|

الَّذِينَ
آمَنُوا

مِن بَعْدِ
مَا
ظُلِمُوا

الَّذِينَ
ظَلَمُوا
أَيَّ
مُنقَلَبٍ
يَنقَلِبُونَ
